Lexicon Lifeline also provide support to small businesses across Dorset and the surrounding counties. Many of the aspects from our school solutions
have been taken and applied to a business environment, including remote support and a tailored service with the options of flexible support and regular visits.
Lifeline Contract Support.
When you take out an annual Lifeline Contract you get an initial IT health check free of charge. The contract provides:
Unlimited Support During Office Hours (9:00-17:30)
Contact Via Email Or Telephone (reply within 2 hours but generally much quicker)
If the problem cannot be solved remotely, we will make a site visit within one business day.
What is Covered?
Our service includes servers, PC's, laptops, printers, data projectors and other peripherals. You also get a consultancy visit during the year to help you
plan for your future developments.
You will receive discounts on hardware, software and consumables. We can also undertake "project work" (installation of new hardware, software, backup solutions
and networking infrastructure at a discounted rate for items not covered by your support contract.
The price you pay depends on the items to be covered. The cost of supporting a server will be given after the initial health check. The contract is for one
year. You can pay monthly or pay the whole year in advance and receive a 10% discount.
Lifeline Flexible Support.
An alternative to our contract support solution, you only pay for the time that you use. Simply telephone or email and we will arrange for a
site visit as soon as possible.
The cost for this service is hourly rate with a minimum charge of one hour.
Pay up front
By purchasing a block of 5 hours in advance you will get a 10% discount on the hourly rate, a minimum call out time of half an hour and email and telephone support.
